I was in bed and heard my husband fall down the stairs as he was leaving for work. I his startled me awake in real life but I fell back asleep. I dreamt he was with me in bed and we cuddled. Then he was gone and I was in bed cuddling with my dog. I couldn’t tell if I was awake or dreaming. I “Woke up” within my dream and see my husband had actually fallen down the stairs and was dead. I ran to his body and held him trying to wake him up and cried. I felt guilt for not have gotten up when I first heard him fall. Then I actually woke up.
